The zip line is a 2/3 mile ride, and you will soar 160 feet directly over some of the coolest animals ever. You will soar above the wildlife and experience the park as you have never before. There is even an adventure for families with little critters that includes a petting zoo and chance to feed some pretty cool animals. The Safari Park also offers a state of the art veterinary medical center where you can learn all about the history of veterinary services provided to these amazing animals. There are several safaris to choose from depending on your adventure choice. You will be traveling by guided cart and will be visiting areas that only the keepers are allowed in. In my humble opinion that is.Let’s take a ride “behind-the-scenes” and experience a wild adventure. Not only did we feed the giraffes, we fed monkeys and peacocks and wild cats too! While the walkthrough isn’t much, it’s still a better experience than the other Branson Zoos. Almost all of the animals here can be fed as well! And if you follow us on Instagram, then you know we have a serious obsession with feeding giraffes! As if the bus tour and one-on-one with animals aren’t enough, there’s also a walk-through zoo with more animals. This hidden gem is at the top of our list for visiting Branson and we can’t get enough of it. To this day, my daughter still talks about the safari bus ride as if we actually traveled through the terrains of Africa. But you won’t regret it, and neither will your kids.

These animals know when that bus pulls up there will be food which is where the most fun is! Just wait until the driver lets the camel eat from his mouth, you’ll be so amazed you’ll want to puke.īe adventurous touch an animal tongue, get spat on, let them lick you. They are an experience on their own, and you won’t want to miss out on that!įurthermore, when you take the bus tour, you have the opportunity to feed the animals. I know it sounds crazy, and I would usually tell you to go adventuring on your own. I know you’ll go back time and time again and it’ll be a whole new experience each and every time!Īnother tip, go ahead and skip the drive-through and opt for the bus ride. I know that Wild Animal Safari is actually in Strafford, but it’s really not that far from Branson, and when you calculate the amazing experience you’ll get. But if not, don’t stress it, you’re not missing out on much. Don’t get me wrong, if you have the time and the money, go for it (as long as you go to the Wild Animal Safari too). Look, the first time we went to Branson, we visited those zoos too. And I’m not being a bit exaggerative about that either So worth the drive, so worth the money, so worth the time. Because Wild Animal Safari does not disappoint. Now I’m dishing on Branson’s best-kept secret, and *spoiler alert* it’s not those lame Branson Zoo’s.Įach time we visit Branson, this is the highlight of our trip, and I’m sure it’ll be yours too.
